Manas National Park

In 1985, the Manas Wildlife Sanctuary was recorded as World Heritage Site.

In 1989, Manas procured the status of a Biosphere reserve.It reaches out over a region of 2837 Sq. Km from Sankosh stream in the west to Dhansiri waterway in the east, with a center territory of 500 Sq. Km. of the National park, which pronounced in 1990.
